Simone Hurst

I am a Mum of 5 children, now adults and teenagers and I love spending time with my family. In my down time I enjoy reading, staying fit, horse riding, puzzles and cooking.

I believe Jesus Christ provides us with a strong foundation for caring, nurturing and teaching children with love and respect. Children are our future and I love having the opportunity to support and teach them, so that they can reach their full potential.

I have been working at St Peter’s Preschool since 2009 and hold a degree in Early Childhood and a Masters in Special Education. I feel blessed to work as a Preschool Teacher in the Bilby room and Additional Needs Coordinator across the week.

I enjoy supporting children to reach their potential and giving them a positive start to their journey of education and learning. I truly value working in partnership with families to support every child's individual needs.

Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Social Science & Master of Special Education with Distinction
