Director – Early Childhood Education
St Peter’s South Tamworth Preschool, Tamworth NSW
St Peter’s South Tamworth Preschool is seeking a passionate and experienced Director to lead our well-established early childhood service. As Director, you will provide overall leadership, ensure regulatory compliance under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and oversee the delivery of high-quality early childhood education aligned with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
You will lead a dedicated team, foster strong partnerships with families, oversee staffing and administration, and guide continuous improvement through the Quality Improvement Plan. The Director also ensures the preschool operates in alignment with the Christian ethos of St Peter’s Anglican Church, reflecting the service’s historic mission as a ministry of the church.
Applicants must hold a 3 or 4 year Early Childhood Education degree (or equivalent) and have significant leadership experience in early childhood settings, along with strong knowledge of the National Quality Standard, child safety requirements, and service operations.
