Our Educators
At St Peter’s Preschool, our team of dedicated and highly qualified educators are the heart of our preschool community. Each staff member brings a wealth of experience, a genuine love for early childhood education, and a shared commitment to nurturing every child’s development in a caring and supportive environment.
Teachers & Room Leaders
Our teaching staff includes university-qualified early childhood teachers and experienced room leaders, each contributing their unique skills and expertise:
- Director / Nominated Supervisor / Educational Leader: Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) equivalent - Monday to Thursday.
- Room Leader & Additional Needs Coordinator: Bachelor of Teaching & Social Science, Masters of Special Education with Honours - Monday to Friday.
- Educational Leader / Room Leader: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) - Wednesday to Friday.
- Room Leader: Diploma in Children's Services - Monday and Tuesday.
- Room Leader: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) - Wednesday to Friday.
Assistant Educators
Our assistant educators support daily routines and learning experiences, helping to ensure every child feels safe, engaged, and valued:
- Assistant Educator: Diploma in Children's Services - Monday & Tuesday.
- Assistant Educator: Diploma in Children's Services - Wednesday & Thursday.
- Assistant Educator: Diploma in Children's Services - Tuesday to Friday.
- Assistant Educator: Diploma in Children's Services - Monday to Friday.
- Additional Educators / Lunch Cover: Two staff with Diplomas in Children’s Services - Monday to Friday.
- Assistant Educator: Certificate III in Children’s Services - Wednesday to Friday.
- Admin Assistant / Assistant Educator: Certificate III in Business Administration & Certificate III in Children’s Services - Tuesday to Friday.
Staff Training & Qualifications
All educators at St Peter’s Preschool have current training in the following:
- First Aid
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management
In addition, many of our staff have also completed Mental Health First Aid training, reflecting our strong focus on wellbeing and support for every child and family.
Above the required number of staff also have Child Protection qualifications.
